We wish it was that easy (the stork is bringing this thing right??). Really, it is sort of like waiting for the cable guy...we know the baby will be here sometime between now and next Tuesday. Today doc Wells says we are 1cm dilated and 75% effaced. She also says unless you have a crystal ball, all this tells you is that you are further along than you were yesterday. Unfortunately our ball is broken.
So...we wait. Mom is great (I mean carrying around the heaviest bowling ball known to man can get a bit old, but no complaints), dad has a stress induced knot in his shoulder no amount of rubbing seems to get out and Fletch is eagerly selecting which toys he will share with his new sibling...but that's about it from the home front.
We continue to search for the perfect name...any ideas?? "Nesting" has organized and cleaned things we never even knew could be that organized or clean and we have plenty of soups and baked goods stored in our freezer (speaking of freezer wow it is clean!). If there was another week or two available we could start our own soup kitchen.
Thank you for all your support and love...we will keep you posted!

Emily & Scott - Well Em, if you can hold out a little longer, littleedi could be born on my birthday, the 26th of January. That's not asking for too much is it? Aunt Linda is wroking on little ones quilt, and you will certainly have it by the time you will be able to use it for the little one. No blankets for awhile except for those that are wrapped around your little bundle like a burrito. I am of course waiting for my call from Mashar. Don't worry Em, things will go just great. And don't let others worry you either. Listen to only half of what they tell you. And I am sure, it is like everything else. The story gets bigger each time they tell it to a new expectant parent. You have got Scott, your Mother, your Father, Doctor and many people at home pulling for you. It will be a breeze. Well maybe a tornado would be a better word. But all is forgotten the moment they put little one on your tummy and then hand it to Daddy. My best to you Honey. God Bless And have a very Happy Birthday. Eat all the cake and ice cream you want. All the weight goes to little one now doesn't it?
Love Aunt Linda
