Proof. We really are having a baby! This photo was taken on Sunday afternoon on Whistler Mountain and features Emily and Edi against a beautiful BC backdrop. As you can tell, Em is finally "showing." Hard to believe we are more than half way there!
We had a nice long "weekend" up north involving sleep, reading, the spa for Em, and cycling for Scott. Scott saw three bears on Monday, none of whom had any porridge.

Edi has been having some fun lately...Huey Lewis Concert with Grandpa Merv, waterskiing, So You Think You Can Dance Tour with MaShar, hiking w Fletch, Whistler, and soon off to Mexico! Busy baby (busy mommy) getting ready to fit into the Edison family. Baby also seems to be a bit of a night owl, dancing the night away in mom's belly.
We are feeling great, reports from Doc are flying colors. No more ultrasounds needed because everything looks so good. We would love to hear from you...let us know what you are up to!!

I can't believe Edi will be here so soon!
testing one more time MaShar :)
this is still a test. I have set up a new account.
Hi Baby Edi - I have not mastered this blog thing yet because it always tells me I don't know who I am, as in Password. I don't know why it is so hard to write you a note.......anyway, I will keep trying, even though I have to write them over and over.
Anyway, tell your Mommy and Daddy to sing you some songs. I know they like "funny" music but kick mommy just a little till she sings you a lullaby. Also, I hear you are a night owl. Now I know for sure we are related. I stay up late and do my artwork. Do you think you will be artistic too?
Be easy on Mommy. Get big and strong. It won't be too long and I will be able to hold you and sing lullaby songs.
I love you
MaShar
"The hills are alive with the Sound of Music"!!!!! Remember Julie Andrews in that movie.....probably not. Anyway, I love the picture of Mom and BabyEdi.
So, Edi, Mashar sort of got caught up in getting a message to you and your parents. But now I think I learned how to do it.
Since my last message which was supposed to go with the corn size of you, you probably haven't had a chance to work on that lullaby thing. So, we can talk about that later.
I really like the picture of you and Mommy on the mountain top. She looks like she is singing. I haven't seen your mommy so happy in a long time and it is you that makes her happy. Of course Daddy is too but Mommy is always attached to you.
Your Daddy saw some bears and I am glad they didn't have him for their porridge........he probably pedaled his bicycle really fast.
I will keep in touch with you and can't wait to hold you. It will be so awesome.
Lots of love to you, Mommy and Daddy
Mashar
